Growing up in the middle of Ireland, I was always under the influence from the country's heavy hand. It wasn't the easiest to learn about fashion to be honest. But I didn't have a huge interest either. Yet, I'd still sprawl out on my bedroom floor and read through any outdated magazine I could get my hands on. Needless to say, I became a voracious reader. And every time, without fail, I would cut those magazines up and take my favourite pieces to the walls. I guess it was my own way of educating my rural style. That was over ten years ago and I've watched my sense of style change in some of the most fantastic (and drastic) ways. Letting go of some of those fond ideas we had when we were kids is necessary though, right? However, there have been aspects of my style that have adapted with all these changes from childhood to now. One of those of course, has been my love for stripes - now a constant in my wardrobe.
